Venezuela Tourism

Tourism offerings in Venezuela consist of a wide variety of natural sights and European-cultural relics. This explains why, in the point of view of us residents of Cocos Islands, being able to visit this South American country is a heavenly opportunity.

Venezuela boasts for being a biodiverse country. Living in a place where there are no rivers or lakes, we have always been fascinated by natural water attractions -- Venezuela just has all those that we are looking for. Venezuela is home to the Angel Falls, the world's highest waterfall. The second longest river in South America, the Orinoco is in the country as well. In addition, our home, Cocos Islands, being atolls in particular, lack mountains; by visiting Venezuela we will be able to see the best mountain range there is -- it is the home to a substantial part of the Andes.

Venezuela's heritage has been heavily influenced by the Caribbean. Thus, most of the attractions in the city are new to our eyes. The historic buildings, architecture, art, landscape, boundaries, and monuments in Venezuelan cities have been shaped by indigenous, Spanish and African influences. These are things we do not have in the land of coconut palm trees that we grew up in.
