Venezuela Attractions
Venezuela is a sanctuary that we from Cocos Islands would certainly have fun exploring. In our little hometown, we do not have historic churches; one of the most popular Venezuela attractions is La Asuncion, a fine colonial pink era cathedral in the Venezuelan island of Margarita. And since Venezuela was a Spanish colony in the past, there are more of such attractions in the country.
It is true that our very own Cocos Islands are natural stunners, however their offering of flora and fauna is not as wide as Venezuela's. Venezuela is home to the highest waterfall in the world, Angel Falls as well as the second longest river in South America, the Orinoco. Aside from wonderful terrains, the country also has the longest coastline to the Caribbean sea. Furthermore, in the island of Margarita, there is Juangriego a small town with a bay that displays spectacular sunsets.
Although we technically live in a place surrounded by water, we are not beachcombers. Venezuela hands us the opportunity to experience being one. One of the most visited Venezuela attractions, ChoronĂ is Venezuela's best Caribbean beach. And there are the beaches of Archipelago de Los Roques as well that offer a wide variety of water sports including snorkeling, diving and windsurfing.
